Long before Pokemon Go, my Special Effects class back at COD we had to make up possible commercial ads. I thought that maybe it be fun to catch pokemon in realife using QR codes on the Nitendo 3DS, but Niantic and the Pokemon Company had a much better idea with what they have now.
